Emma Watson stops temporarily acting

Emma Watson has decided to stop acting for a year, to give more attention to her personal development and her role as a United Nations ambassador for women’s rights.


My goal is to read a book every week. In addition, I want to read a book a month for my book club,” she says in talks with Paper Magazine .


Watson was considering to study for a year. “But I do not go in the end. I learn a lot of the conversations I have with people and the books I read. I’m actually on the right track.”


The Harry Potter -actrice will also in the near future to focus more on the initiative HeForShe, she has recently established as a UN ambassador for women’s rights. The initiative aims to convince men to commit themselves more equal rights between men and women.


The Circle

Watson can still be seen in theaters in the coming period. They will star in the film adaptation book The Circle (2016) and the live-action film Beauty and the Beast (2017) Disney.
